Last week we swapped our weekly blog for a handy guide to events in Yorkshire. This was so popular that we have decided to do it again! We have featured some of the best festivals on offer, so have a look at the graphic below and see which ones take your fancy.

Grassington Festival - 14th - 29th June

For the last two weeks of June each year, Grassington comes alive in a myriad of colours and creativity as artists, bands, art enthusiasts and local people collaborate to entertain and inspire with unusual and unique live performances, from music, dance and street theatre to workshops, talks, walks and creative challenges

Willowman Festival - 20th 23rd June

A heady brew of Yorkshire Shenanigans awaits those who head to the Willowman, which is a family friendly, relaxed atmosphere amidst beautiful rolling Yorkshire countryside.

Beverley Folk Festival - 21st - 23rd June

Beverley Festival is well known for its innovative and eclectic mix that brings the most friendly and relaxed atmospheres to this historic, East Yorkshire town. An enchanting blend of dance, comedy, literature,poetry and of course music.

Hebden Bridge Arts Festival - 22nd - 30th June

An annual highlight for the Calder Valley, Hebden Bridge Arts Festival brings the best national and international artists and performers to the area each summer for a celebration of comedy, music, dance, drama, literature and visual arts.

Live in Barnsley - 22nd June

LIVE in Barnsley' is a FREE music festival and is spread over a number of venues in an area of Barnsley town centre. The aim of the festival is to try to recreate a Greenfield vibe in an urban environment.

Hand Made Parade - 22nd June

The Hebden Bridge Handmade Parade is a community-generated parade led by local artists which celebrates the creativity, variety and the uniqueness of Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire and its surrounding areas.

World Curry Festival - 21st - 23rd June

The World Curry Festival is a three-day jamboree of sensory experiences. It's a festival to be remembered and one, which we hope will continue to establish Britain as the world's curry capital.

Halifax Food & Drink Festival - 22nd - 23rd June

Halifax town centre will transform into one gigantic celebration of everything that's delicious - a thrilling outdoor banquet where food, glorious food is the star of the show. You'll be able to feast your senses on award-winning local produce such as pork pies, chorizo and ice cream, try out authentically prepared dishes from all corners of the globe, and indulge in artisan coffees, ciders, ales, chocolates and cheeses.

Homegrown Food Festival - 23rd June

The Homegrown Food Festival, organised by a group of dedicated volunteers from Northallerton, showcases food and drink produced from within a 40 mile radius of the town. It is a great opportunity to celebrate local food products and to meet the people who produce them, take part in cookery workshops, and much much more..
