Y 16: Inspiring Yorkshire - York Barbican

23 March 2016, 10am - 2pm

Welcome to Yorkshire's annual Y conference is the biggest tourism event in the UK.

This year we are hosting the conference at York Barbican

The event will celebrate the highlights of Yorkshire tourism last year and also unveil our exciting plans for marketing and promoting Yorkshire to the world in 2016. We aim to energise and empower you for a fantastic year ahead, helping you make the most of this year's big events including the 2nd edition of the Tour de Yorkshire and the 2016 Yorkshire Festival.

We have also recently announced that the record-breaking Yorkshire Rows are set to reveal all about their epic adventure at Y16. The four will take to the stage at the York Barbican after spending over two months rowing across the Atlantic and breaking the world record for becoming the oldest female crew to row across any ocean. There will also be a flavour of the Yorkshire Festival which will get the audience fired with enthusiasm for the event on 16 June - 3 July. Read more here
